Startling sight lines with its own unique rhythm. The Southern is not about excess, but about focus.
The warm and relaxed rhythm of southern living, where architecture embraces light, landscape, and community.
Our Southern by Bob Manders collection distinguishes itself by its high ceilings and strong vertical lines which refer to early days stately canal houses and Venetian and big city’s palazzo’s. A house made of stone, plaster and a thatched roof with the characteristic black framed Southern Woods windows.
Framing Nature:
The Bob Manders Way
Expansive glass surfaces emphasize monumental trees, glorious landscapes or knockout seasides, while solid walls ensure privacy and intimacy. Your home is so much more than just the rooms inside.
Thoughtful design,
perfected over decades.
Southern warmth
A low, horizontal outline with wide façades that protect and embrace, apart from welcoming light and views from every angle.
Living outdoors
Broad terraces and shaded verandas extend the home into the surrounding landscape. Each season with its own exclusive ambiance.
Expansive openness
Staggering windows and sliding doors create a continuous dialogue between indoors and outdoors, between retreat and explore.
The floor plan shows your home’s layout and flow, giving you a clear sense of how each space connects and feels.

Southern Woods or Southern Cities?
As an evolution of our Southern Woods style of which our first building was already designed in 2005, we started the Southern Collection. Architect Bob Manders offers two variations of this extraordinary concept: Southern Woods and Southern Cities. Different roof types, both with expressive, high portals.
